Rithala Village
Rithala Update Cultural heritage website for a Delhi Rajput village, with AI chatbot, Instagram Reels integration & bilingual storytelling.
The Challenge
Rithala Village, a historic Rajput community in North-West Delhi, wanted a digital home to preserve and share its Rajputana heritage, temple traditions, and festival culture — something no existing village in the area had. The goal wasn't a generic informational site, but a living, story-driven platform that could:
- Showcase Rajput history and heritage in an emotionally engaging, visual-first way
- Auto-pull and display the community's Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts (Kawad Yatra, temple events, village life)
- Support bilingual content (Hindi + English) for both local and wider audiences
- Give visitors an easy way to ask questions instantly, without needing to browse every page
- Handle a large volume of historical photos and event imagery without the site feeling cluttered or slow
The Solution
DigionTop built a culture-and-community website with a warm, heritage-driven visual theme, combining rich storytelling with modern web features:
- Rajputana-themed visual design — a warm red-and-heritage color palette, temple and warrior imagery, and Hindi-first typography that reflects the village's identity rather than a generic template
- AI Chatbot ("Rithala AI") — an on-site assistant that answers visitor questions about the village, its history, temples, and events in real time, reducing the need for visitors to dig through pages
- Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts integration — a dedicated "On The Gram" section auto-displaying the latest Bhakti Reels and Kawad Yatra videos directly on the homepage, keeping the site fresh without manual updates
- Bilingual (Hindi/English) navigation so the site serves both the local Rajput community and a broader audience researching Rajputana history
- Rich photo galleries and historical maps — including the Imperial Gazetteer's Rajputana Agency map, temple photos, and village milestone images — organized for fast loading and easy browsing
- Blog section for ongoing village updates, festival coverage (Kawad Yatra, Shivratri), and community stories
- FAQ section built for search & AI answer engines, targeting queries like "Rithala Village history", "Rajputana heritage Delhi", and "Kawad Yatra Rithala"
Results
- A fully bilingual, culture-first website that gives Rithala Village a distinct digital identity — something no comparable village community site currently offers
- Live social content (Reels/Shorts) embedded directly on the homepage, keeping the site dynamic without extra maintenance
- An AI chatbot that handles visitor queries instantly, improving engagement and reducing drop-off
- A rich, well-organized photo and video archive that preserves community history for future generations
- SEO and AI-search-ready structure, helping the site surface for heritage, culture, and local-history searches
